I shot this session yesterday and I am blogging it today … shows how excited I am about these!! My dear friend Kelly asked for a shoot and needed a few photos for a self portrait art project she is doing. I have shot Kelly before and she is gorgeous so of course I was excited about another chance to take her pictures. She has the most beautiful, intense eyes ever!! We had a blast and I got so many I love! Can’t wait to show you her finished artwork when she is done!
 As a photographer, some are some days I just want to go out and shoot someone!( with a camera that is). Lucky for me I have lots of beautiful friends who love to have their picture taken

Whenever my cousin Shelby comes to town, we always have a photoshoot. No question about it! She is so beautiful and so natural at posing, and I love that! We always have a blast and come up with awesome images! It was freezing cold on this day and we drove all over trying to find a place to go that we wouldn’t freeze to death but she rocked it out!
I am super excited about this!! Our local Caribou Coffee started featuring artists monthly to display their work around the shop. For the month of March they chose me! I am so honored and thankful! So this morning I went and hung up my 11 pieces A huge thank you to Shep Kirk and Stephanie Gartner for telling their boss about my work! Also thank you to Arielle and Brittney for helping me narrow down my choices! Here are a few shots to show you. You will have to excuse the photo quality because 1. I learned I am awful at hanging pictures and I was flustered 2. A man working on very important things (or least it looked like it) got kinda mad that my flash was going off and asked me to stop! ( Cue my face turning red as a tomato haha)

I also got some new business card!! Other photogs will know the excitement I feel when we receive our business cards!

I actually really really love the pictures of the pictures (if that makes sense). The framed photo’s really grab your attention because they seem really vivid in comparison to the the rest of the of the coffee shop. Way to kill it.

After a little clothing change we have part 2 of Kendel & Shep’s shoot!! In case you missed it yesterday, part 1 is HERE. I don’t have much to say since it is 5am and I have to head to work. But they are awesome and such good models!

Ok these next 3 crack me up ! Kendel and Shep always have people ask them if they are a couple which is really weird/awkward since they are brother and sister. Just because they sing together doesn’t mean they are dating! Just to clear up those rumors, Shep had this shirt made so there is no confusion! He also wrote a hilarious song to go with it!

I haven’t done Brittney’s pictures since last year so we decided to do one! It was crazy windy and we almost gave up but I was determined to get some good shots. We ended up finding a place that wasn’t too bad and I LOVE what we got! I took more of a risk with these and wanted to do some different editing since it was just for fun! Check it out!
