If there is a single person who I can give credit for the most referrals, it would be my sweet friend Tegan. This girl has connected me to so many couples and I am so thankful for that! She talks me up to every person she knows and I couldn’t ask for a better friend! Chloe and Tegan became close friends in grad school at Wheaton College. They also just graduated which I am so proud of! I have heard a lot about her friends there, so when Chloe contacted me for engagement photos, I was so excited. We met at Catigny Park and I loved them immediately. You see, I am known for being a bit awkward and weird but I found out Chloe can be too and didn’t judge me one bitand she loves pizza! So fast friends we became! I am sad that I won’t be able to be there for their wedding but I am so glad I got to spend the evening getting to know these two!

Meet Drew & HeatherThese two are high school sweethearts, passionate for God, and are absolutely adorable.

We did these photos at Catigny Park and it was gorgeous!

In our emails, Heather told me how much he made her laugh and how she wanted that to be captured. It wasn’t hard for me because he had her laughing the entire time!

These look so peaceful but secretly there was a wild turkey way behind us that didn’t seem to happy. So we kept our distance

We then moved to a nearby pond. Drew is a huge fishing fan so we wanted to capture a bit of the waterfront. I love these images so much!

And this has to be a fav for sure! I had such a blast photographing their love! I can’t wait to photograph their winter wedding!

I have a love for cherry blossom trees. It makes my heart flutter when Spring is beginning and they come out in full bloom! I know their beauty is fleeting though because they are only vibrant and pink for a few weeks! So a few weekends ago, I knew the weather and light would be perfect with the trees and I just had to photograph a couple! I had a vision and I was going to complete it. I asked around and couldn’t seem to find anyone who at last minute would be able to. I was at a coffeeshop with some friends that Friday night and we were brainstorming who to ask. I then decided I was going to find a cute couple there and ask them. I was surprised by myself as I am typically shy and not good walking up to strangers like that. A few minutes later, I saw this adorable couple and decided they were the ones. It turns out they were good friends with the people I was with so it wasn’t as weird when I introduced myself and asked them if they wanted to model for me the next day. They probably thought I was crazy but they said yes! So the next evening I got to hang out with these two and they made my vision complete. Seriously, I couldn’t have asked for better subjects! They are just dating now but are so in love! I had so much fun getting to hear their story and I just love their energy and sweet spirits. Here are my favorite images from our session!
