Today’s wedding is super special to me.
Josh and Marie are two dear freinds and fantastic people!
I have known Josh since high school and he is one of my brother’s best friends. So it is so cool to see him fall in love with Marie and their story.
They met in the Czech Republic when Josh was on a missions trip. She is from Czech and that is where it all started. The funny thing is they found out they live a few hours from each other in the US where she goes to school.
The rest is history and they are now married! They had their official cereomy in Czech and a reception back home here. So technically this isn’t a wedding but a reception but I’ll call it a wedding anyway
Another reason I loved this wedding was that soo many of my friends were there! It was a big party and so much fun to be with everyone. Even my brother was in the bridal party which made things even better!
They told me early on that they wanted this to be a gospel centered celebration and it was. The day was covered in prayer, thankfulness to God, and constant stories of how God has used Josh and Marie in different people’s lives. They make an impact for God wherever they go and that was evidant.
I am sad it is over because it was so much fun but I am thrilled for Josh and Marie as they start their new life together!
We staged a little first look! They were already married at this point of course but Josh had never seen her in this dress. So it was sweet
Josh looking dapper!
The groomsmen were hilarious and crazy. They are all friends of mine and had me laughing the entire day. Josh said he could make an album with all of their guys pictures and he certainly could. I still laugh at all the crazy things they did.
It was super cold so I let them stay inside for some portraits!
The joke is in Czech, people are very serious. Here is their picture for “Czech smiles!”
Again with the crazy pictures. I think it was the suspenders that caused this.
Then I got crazy and forced everyone in the cold. They survived no worries
Prayer right before! Love this!
Guests had to sing a song throughout the reception for the couple to kiss instead of clinking glasses. This is my brother attempting!
Another of my favorite parts were the speeches. Absolutely hilarious!
Jared looks like and can talk like Obama so he had to do his speech in Obama fashion
Their first dance was so special. Our friend Shep played live “I Won’t Give Up”, and it had everyone in tears. Live music for a first dance is a great choice!
And the dance party started. I wish I could do a blog post on all the hilarious dance photos!
Past and future couples were there!
And I had to pose for a few! What a great night!
