Brittney Snowwhite

You have seen her gorgeous self grace this blog before. And because that session was so great I just had to shoot my best friend again! It was freezing this morning but Brit was a great sport and totally rocked it out! I did different editing than I normally do but they still look great!!

A snowy engagement

They first met at Clare Oaks retirement community where they both met. Alex is a pastry chef there and when Sarah first tasted one of his creations, she marched into the kitchen demanding to meet who made such an amazing dessert. She said she was going to marry him and although he was a little wary of her after that comment he eventually realized what an amazing girl she was and took her out. On a romantic trip to Italy, Alex popped the question and they lived happily ever after:)haha

I am super excited for these two! When we first met up they were so funny and so in love! So great to see. Sarah’s ring is so so pretty! It was so cute that while we were talking she would keep just glancing at her finger:)They are goofballs and we braved the cold and snow for some awesome pictures! Can’t wait for their wedding in December 2012!

We started at Alex’s church. It was so beautiful with tons of pretty light and stained glass windows

Look at that ring!!

They have a thing where they always wink at each other:)so cute!

Work it! They rocked their model faces !

Ethan and Amy’s Winter Wedding

When Amy first met Ethan she thought he was just rude. But after that first meeting they found themselves talking more and more and eventually fell in love. When Ethan was deployed, they talked every day for 7 months. It was a romance the blossomed over skype. During the hard times apart, they strengthened each other and realized they were meant to be. On Dec 26 I had the honor of being able to document these two lovebird’s beautiful wedding!! It was my first solo wedding and I totally loved every second of it! It was a beautiful day and the love between these two is so awesome!! and what a goodlooking couple! Congrats you two and thank you so much for trusting me for your big day!

Props to Ethan’s mom for the beautiful decorations!

For a guy who doesn’t like his picture taken he looks pretty good:)

Snowman Soup

So sorry I haven’t blogged in forever! I just haven’t had anything to write! with the bad weather here it is just too cold for pictures!! So here is a great little gift idea for you all that my mom does. It is called Snowman Soup and it is a cute, easy way to give a gift without spending a ton! I have decided to give all of my coworkers gifts this year ( am I crazy?) and I am for sure going to do this!

So to start go out to the dollar store and get some great little mugs! These pictured were only a dollar!

Then comes the actual cocoa mix!

These are all the ingredients you need:

You need:

1 cup of chocolate drink mix
1/2 cup of powdered non-dairy creamer

6 2/3 cups of nonfat dry milk powder

1/2 cup of baking cocoa
1/2 powdered sugar

5 oz package cook and serve Jello chocolate pudding mix

Combine the chocolate drink powder with the dry milk, cocoa, creamer, powdered sugar, and chocolate mudding mix. Transfer the mixture to an airtight container. It will keep for up to 3 months.

Next comes the assembling of the gift!

In a small sandwich bag add 1/3 cup of the cocoa mixture and close.
You can also pick up some little marshmellows for the bag.
combine the two
Add a few candy canes in the mug too!
My mom printed up these tags to go on the outside of the bag. So cute!
And here is the finished product!!

This is such a perfect little gift because it is delicious hot chocolate for the cold winters! Make some for yourself too!! Enjoy:)
