Cherry blossoms, sock buns, and Titanic tears.

I had such a great Easter weekend (and I hope you did too)! Whenever my family from St. Louis comes to town, it is always a fun time. Especially for Shelby and I. She has made an appearance on this blog many times and she is my favorite model to shoot. Now she isn’t really a model, but she is so good at it and we have a blast on every shoot! We didn’t only do a photo shoot, it was a packed weekend and here is a glimpse of what we did:

Hung out with Grandpa and my cousin thinks I talk too loud when I talk to him.
Woke up early and went to Target before it opened. While we waited, we watched people get overly excited about going to target and watched them walk into the automatic doors. It was quite amusing.
I taught Shelby and her sister the sock bun and they have been forever changed:)
Had a photo shoot with a random tree at the train station.
Had a family party filled with an Easter egg hunt, lots of food, and fighting over which dessert was better.
We jammed out to Justin Beiber’s song Boyfriend way too many times.
We stayed up late talking about nothing or should I say Shelby kept me up late making me listen to One Direction.
Saw Titanic 3d and I couldn’t stop crying at the end. As my brother said, ” The movie was 3 hours and Sabrina cried for 4.” That is pretty accurate haha.
Went to church to celebrate our Risen King.
Ate a ton of pancakes and said our goodbyes.

That was our weekend and it was great!! So I originally didn’t want to do a blog post since I have so many of Shelby but these are some of my favorite images so I couldn’t resist!

Jake & Brittany | Engagement

I have known Brittany since high school and our 4h days. So when she contacted me about wedding photography I was so excited that she was engaged!! We had a blast last week shooting their engagement session and I am so glad I got to meet Jake. He makes her laugh so much and I think that is so important with couples. When life gets rough having a partner to make you laugh helps to get through those hard times! So enjoy these two and their love through pictures!

Tegan!

We met in high school youth group.  I thought she was weird and she talked alot and she thought I was Native American because people called me Sabby. But somehow we ended up being best friends and I seriously do not know what I would do without her. This girl is the biggest encouragement in my life and as I have said before Everyone Needs A Tegan. I got to hang out with her a few weekends ago and we took a few pictures !

The Cupcake Adventures

A few weeks ago, my friend Tegan said we have to go have cupcakes in Geneva. I didn’t know what the big deal was or how this could be different than any other cupcake. But oh boy was I wrong! First of all the Latest Crave is the cutest place ever. It is a small little shop in downtown Geneva with pink walls and green gumball machine. They have specialty flavors every day and it is so hard to choose one!! I chose the Cookies and Cream cupcake and I almost died when I took the first bite! It was seriously the best cupcake I have ever had and you need to check them out! Shoot I am getting hungry just writing this post !

Dinner Parties & Feeling Like Adults

So I have been MIA for awhile partially because the blog has been down and because I was housitting! I got to spend a week with Brittney in St. Charles and we had so much fun. It was more a vacation for us than actually watching the house but that is why it was so great!

We decided to have a little get together and cook for our friends. Brit and I looked on Pinterest for the recipes and headed the the fancy Blue Goose grocery store. We made delicious chicken and vegetables and ended the night with a chocolate trifle! yum!! We joked the whole time that we totally felt like adults throwing a dinner party. The night was filled with arguments over the Hunger Games, crazy dance moves, and someone putting Ryan Gosling as my Ipad wallpaper. Such a fun night!

We were so proud of our marinated chicken:)

And of course I had to take some shots of Brit again. She is the sock bun queen and I love it!

Trifle time!!

Picture time for the girls:)

So cute!

Oh boy had to share this… they are too funny!

Aww yay all the girls!
