Tennessee Love

I am at a loss for words for how to even start describing this trip.
It was time away to think, to pray, to relax, to bond with each other.
It was a vacation filled with so many laughs, a few tears, and heck even a bear scare.
5 days in the mountains with two of my best friends as well as my second family.
There were so many memories made throughout those days.
From deep talks in the hot tub every night, to the first time we sat in awe of the mountains, to me laughing at papa bear at everything he said. It was SUCH a good trip.
Patrick summed it up as he prayed on the last night that there was no one else he would rather spend this trip with. I smiled and had to agree.

I often felt bad that I was constantly taking pictures. But then I come home and look through them all and I realize how great it is that I kept snapping. There were little things from the trip I had forgotten about but now have saved in pictures.
As I get back into the busyness and craziness of life, I don’t want to forget all that happened just last week. And I will look through these pictures to remember those times…

The time I went on a trip with two people crazy about each other and how they show it in small ways.

The times I had my quiet time on the porch where the loudest noise was a leaf falling off a tree.

The time we went shopping and this dude acted like the real southern deal until Kyle caught him with his guard down and he doesn’t have an accent…

The time we went to the store that has salsa to light your mouth on fire.

That time Pat took a chunk of death by salsa and wanted to die. Such a hilarious moment.

That time they got fake engaged and then bought the most expensive bag of Jelly Beans ever.

That time we went into the gorgeous mountains. Look how small that road is.

The time we literally drove in the clouds.

The time when we ate Sweet Frog basically every night.

That time that Mama Bear and Papa Bear were the cutest ever. That is our nicknames for them <3

The time Jess and I chased a sunset and ran up a hill.

The time we rode in a Tram up in the mountains and I was freaking out but survived.

The time we hiked up a mountain and got these shots. So hard but so worth it.

The time I taught Pat and Arielle to be photographers and  they shot me.

The time a bear tried to kill me. I won’t forget that time. (These pictures are super zoomed in, next time I will have to bring a telephoto lens!)

That time Mama Bear and Papa Bear invited me on their family vacation. So grateful for them.

Arielle captured so many moments from her Ipod that I just had to share:)
